Pair George III Navette Silver Salts With Blue Glass Liners by Stephen Adams, London. One bears hallmarks for 1800 and the other for 1802.
Beautifully shaped and proportioned navette salt holders. Minor chip to one of the glass liners and small dint to side of one silver holder. But overall, pleasing condition for a pair of items that were made thirteen years before the battle of Waterloo.
Stephen Adams I, smallworker, registered Oct 1760 to Feb 1802, father of Stephen Adams II, plateworker, registered May 1784 to May 1815.
