Art Deco Engine Turned Silver & Bakelite Tobacco Jar, Birmingham 1933 By Joseph Gloster Patented

Silver over Bakelite tobacco jar marked Birmingham 1933 for Joseph Gloster Ltd. Also marked Pat No 325841 which was awarded to Jospeh Gloster Ltd and related to the spinning of silver over a hollow container made from a different material. Engine turning to outside of jar. Plain removable lid.

Well proportioned jar with very attractive art deco engine turning round the outside. Some tap marks to top and a few minor scrapes on the side.
