Royal Worcester Bone China ‘Astley’ Oven to Table Dinner Service and Part Tea Set

Set of 8 bone china dinner plates, 9 side plates, two egg coddlers with lids, one cake serving plate, two serving dishes with lids, one quiche dish, six large cups and saucers and a teapot by Royal Worcester in the Astley pattern with gold rim. The Astley pattern launched in the 1960s and shares its name with an early 18th century pattern called ‘Dr. Wall‘s Astley’. It features a modern take on 18th century floral sprigs with flowers in ochre red and violet with green and green-blue leaves. The design was in production from 1968 to 1986.
