George III Red Chinoiserie Bow Fronted Hanging Corner Cupboard, Circa 1780

George III chinoiserie cupboard with bow front. It is painted and lacquered in chinoiserie decoration on a less commonly seen red background. The cabinet has its original hinges and escutcheons and the doors open to reveal three shelves.

The cupboard is in original un-restored condition with some historic damage and repairs. The original lock is in place but there is no key so a previous owner has added a swivel catch to the lower edge.
