William IV Mahogany chest of drawers with octagonal pilasters on plinth base. The chest has five graduated drawers with turned rosewood knobs and a sixth secret drawer concealed in the frieze border at the top. The secret drawer can be secured shut using a rotating knob accessed through the first drawer below it.

Stunning and quite rare chest of drawers with large storage capacity. The drawers and runners have been restored so they run smoothly whilst the exterior has been sympathetically restored to retain its aged character. It is likely to be a long time before we see another chest of drawers like this.
